As a charitable trust run by volunteer trustees
and a volunteer management team, supported by
part time administration funded through the Big
Lottery Fund, we are always in need of more help!
There are all sorts of things you can do from
admin and PR, to fund raising, manning stands
and speaking to community groups about our work.
How can I help?
Cheshire
Rural Trust is always looking for volunteers.
We need as little or as much time as you can give
us to do a variety of tasks including:
• Talking to groups about our work
• Raising awareness of the Trust within
your own community or workplace
• Staffing our stand at shows and exhibitions
• Planning and implementing fund raising
events
• Helping with marketing, public relations
and administration
• Encouraging rural communities to apply
for grants.
Or if you want to support us but can’t
spare the time, financial donations are always
welcome. The bulk of our funding comes from the
generosity of people who, like us, want to see
Cheshire’s rural communities survive and
thrive.
How do I make a donation?
Please print off and fill in the donor
form here
and return it to us
at the address below or call us and we’ll
send a form to you.
You can make a one-off donation or set up a standing
order for regular payments. If you’re a
tax payer we can also claim back the tax on your
donation.
By giving money to Cheshire Rural Trust you can
be sure that your support will become support
for individuals and groups in need and will help
us to help the people of Cheshire to help themselves.
I want to volunteer, what do I do now?
